FIELD SALES & ACCOUNT MANAGER (RETAIL) – AUSTRALIA


COMPANY OVERVIEW

Founded in 2014, Minor Figures is Europe’s leading cold brew coffee brewery. Its core markets are the UK and Australia. The Australian office is responsible for sales in Asia Pacific and currently sells in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and Malaysia.

Minor Figures re-branded and launched a new range in 2018. The range includes nitro cold brew coffee cans, barista oat milk, liquid chai and retail coffee beans. The new range from both brand and sales perspective is exploding and we are building build a team across both the UK and Australia to help achieve our ambitious sales goals.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Sales Representative will be personable, results-driven, ambitious with an entrepreneurial mindset. They will be responsible for driving sales and distribution of the entire Minor Figures product portfolio.

You will display a positive, can-do attitude, have a great work ethic, be a good problem solver and enjoy fun, super-fast paced environments. You will have the opportunity for career progression as you grow with the business.

Travel required – approximately interstate bi-monthly, international once per year.

Required Essential Experience Skills & Qualifications 

• You must have a background in either sales or food & drink.

• Strong relationship management skills, be organised, have good communication skills and a drive for results.

• Demonstrable ability to plan, deliver and track sales targets

• Ability to help grow business and input positively company culture.

• Australian drivers licence

REPORTING TO

Miranda Jack

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Sales

• On the road selling to retailers to build distribution and grow sales.

• Cross sell to get ranging of full Minor Figures product portfolio.

• Visiting existing retail customers to ensure that product is on shelf, faced up, located in highly visible positions and POS is displayed.

• Secure and implement high impact and highly visible ‘off locations’.

• Liaise with distributors to arrange fulfilment of sales opportunities

• Train distributors and their reps on Minor Figures

• Achievement mutually agreed on sales and distribution goals

 

Marketing

• Plan and execute product sampling plan

• Plan and execute in-store promotions plan

• Assist with events

 

Sales administration

Review, track and report on monthly distribution/sales performance

REPORTING

Monthly distribution/sales report.

REVIEW

At three months and then annually.

PLACE OF WORK

Sydney – home based

HOURS OF WORK

38 hours per week from Monday to Friday during standard business hours. You may be required to work hours in addition to the above where this is necessary to meet operational requirements and emergencies. Start and/or finish times are flexible according to business requirements.

We expect that you will attend events outside the above hours from time to time. Time in lieu is provided for attendance at these events.
