Rare coffee in Colombian washes; in the group of enzymes the Ethiopian white flower and the notes of pepper stand out. It is very sweet, balsamic, with citric acidity, good body, round and delicate.
The Finca El Danubio has been owned by Mr. Jose Ortiz since 1993. This Finca is located at a height of 1,650 meters above sea level, in the Corinto district of the Acevedo municipality in the department of Huila. This department is located in the south west of the country and is recognized for its high production of coffee and cup consistency throughout the year, which also attributes sweet notes, good acidity and intense fragrance to coffee. The Danube has more than 20,000 Coffee Trees planted with a Pink Bourbon variety.
The coffee is collected manually, then washed before going through a 36-hour fermentation process, for subsequent drying in the sun. The harvest months are May, June and July.
